Manchester City have confirmed themselves to be the Premier League champions this season.

Pep Guardiola also said that the current Citizens squad will be remembered by Manchester City fans for the achievements they have achieved.
Manchester City won the Premier League title this season after defeating Aston Villa. Compete at the Etihad Stadium, Sunday (22/5/2022).
After two goals behind, Manchester City surprisingly won with a score of 3-2.
Why is it surprising? Because Man City trailed 0-2 ahead of Aston Villa.
However, The Citizens managed to turn things around in less than 10 minutes. It was Ilkay Gundogan (76′ and 81′) and Rodri (78′) who scored that crucial goal.
After the match, Guardiola was very satisfied to be able to bring Man City to win the title in front of his own public.
Although on the other hand, the bald-headed coach admitted that the victory his squad won was not easy.
“The last game is always special, very emotional. Aston Villa gave everything, the first goal changed everything and we knew we had to deal with it,” said Guardiola.
“Winning at home, in front of our fans is the best. When we equalized, we believed we had a chance to score the third goal,” he continued.
This achievement is very sweet for Guardiola. The reason, he managed to bring Man City won the Premier League title four times in just the last five seasons.
However, he did not want to be arrogant and revealed that the Citizens squad is a legend that will be remembered by his fans.
“We are legends. When you win the Premier League in this country four times in five seasons it’s because these people are very, very special. We will be remembered,” said Guardiola.
The Citizens came out as champions with a collection of 93 points. They are only one point ahead of Liverpool who finished in second place.
This victory is Manchester City’s sixth title when winning the English Premier League. Congrats City!
