Alan Irvine as manager : Not so confident….

Alan Irvine is little bit confused about whether he would be able to remain as manager of West Brom after defeat 3 – 1 by Manchester City. Irvine is favorite player of many West Brom fans around the world and he has been made the manager of Premier League. Though, according to him he is not so confident about staying as manager. Alan Irvine said, “The chairman will make a decision as far as that is concerned. I can’t control it. Can I be confident about it? Not necessarily, because I don’t know what the thinking is.” In June 2014, Alan Irvine, 56 was given the name of successor to Pepe Mel.

On Wednesday, Alan Irvine had stints for getting in charge of Sheffield and Preston. For Baggies fan, the appointment of Alan Irvine was taken as a big surprise. This appointment was given to him after he served as head of Everton’s Academy for 3 years.

As Alan is confused and is not confident besides he says that he will work hard for the team and hopefully he will be able to produce much positive results. Alan Irvine said, “All I can do is work as hard as I do and keep on trying to get the right kind of performances and results”. With his statement, it can be clearly seen that with consistent hard work, Alan as manager will do something really good. Phil Neville at Everton is much hopeful for Alan Irvine. Irvine was the assistant manager with him Phil Neville in regard to the manager post of Alan Irvine said, I think he has what it takes to be a manager at this level. You saw that his team was all working for him. The problem is they’re getting punished for individual errors. But they should stick with him. He needs to start winning games though.” Phil Neville said so at Goodison Park on Match of the day.

West Brom is going to have a game on 28th December and it will be played at Stoke. Trip has been scheduled to West Ham by New Year’s Day. This match will be played before West Broom will face non – league Gateshead on 3rd January in FA Cup at Hawthorns. Now let’s see what Alan Irvine as new manager would do. In my opinion, the performances of Alan will though bring many reforms. Fingers are crossed!
