Andres Iniesta insists to leave Barcelona

Andres Iniesta is reportedly gave an interesting responds to fans about his future this summer amid transfer link to Chinese Super League club Tianin Quanjian.

The Barcelona skipper has dominated the headlines for months after rumours that he wants to out of Camp Nou since the arrival of the Brazilian Philippe Coutinho in January transfer window.

According to report, Tianjin Quanjian have offered Iniesta for £31 millions this summer but American MLS clubs, meanwhile, also have stepped their interest to the player.

The 34-year-old midfielder signed a ‘contract for life’ last year, but it was a non-binding deal that just laid out plan for him and the club to discuss the future at the end of the season.

“I’ve already decided what I’m going to do. I’ve always had affection from the fans, I’m grateful to them, who have been there fro more than 20 years. Their support has been essential for winning.” Iniesta said.

“When I have to give my opinion, the club will know it and then everyone else will find out. Right now, I’m happy with the game today, because La Liga means a huge amount.

“The disappointments and the thing s we’ve done badly, they hurt. The things we do well are to be enjoyed. We have two roads to grieve, or to go through mourning and move forwards.” Iniesta added.

Asked about Champions League match after his team’s shock quarterfinal out to AS Roma, the Spaniard could not hide his disappointment and it maybe for the last time.

“That is possibility and for the reason it hurts even more. It’s a very hurtful elimination because nobody expected it due to the lead we had.” Iniesta said.

“When you do things badly, make lots of mistakes and don’t adapt to the game, this is what happens. It’s a big disappointment because of the season we were having. It’s difficult to take this elimination because we had a lot of hope and it has escaped.” he added.

Iniesta was graduated from Barcelona youth academy. In 2002, he made his first-team debut. He started playing regularly during the 2004/05 season.

He was an important player of Barcelona sides that won two historic trebles in 2009 and 2015 season, and his 33 trophies makes him Spain’s greatest ever player.
