German giants Bayern Munich announced on Thursday that they have lifted the option to sign Kingsley Coman permanently at the end of the 2016/17 season. Kingsley Coman has impressed at Bayern Munich during his time on loan from Juventus.
“Kingsley Coman will stay here. It is very important for the present of the team and the future,” wrote Bayern in their website. “Before Saturday’s move to Wolfsburg, Bayern Munich decided to make an important decision. The club had until the end of April to lift option to sign Kingsley Coman with Juventus. The 20-year-old French international, who joined Bayern in August 2015, will remain in Munich until the end of the season. His new contract runs until June 2020.” Bayern added.
A good financial operation for Juventus which recovers 21 million euros for player arrived free in 2014 after refusing to sign his first professional contract with PSG. On the other hand, Bayern definitely acquires a player with high potential and courted.
While Manchester City were on the lookout for the case, they were whispering that former Coman head coach, Pep Guardiola, was willing to spend 60 million euros to enlist Coman this summer. It remains to be seen whether Manchester City will still try and offer a nice addition to Bayern. But the German club still seems to keep the player.
“Kingsley Coman is an important part of the future of our team, so we decided to lift the call option. Kingsley is a hopefull player with great potential. We are confident that he will help us in the coming years,” told Bayern President Karl-Heinz Rummenigge to media.

On the other side, France winger has been eyeing many clubs in Euro over his impressed performances with Bayern during the 2016/17 season. However, Bayern insist to sign the player permanently with high pay.
Bayern Munich head coach Carlo Ancelotti told that Coman is his favourite player. And he insists the winger to stay at Allianz Arena with good pay. “Coman stay at Allianz Arena to help Bayern Munich,” Ancelotti told media. “I will fly to Italy to meet Juventus President and to make sure Coman still at German. I demand to the club to handle this deal at this summer.” former Real Madrid added.
