Beat Bournemouth, Arsenal Mighty at the Top of the EPL

Arsenal are the only team in the Premier League this season to always record wins, aka achieve perfect results in the last three matches.

In fact, the latest result, namely Arsenal’s victory during a visit to Bournemouth, made the Gunners camp determined to extend their unbeaten run in the English League (EPL) this season.

Bournemouth’s match against Arsenal took place at the Vitality Stadium, on 20 August 2022.

Arsenal managed to win four of the last five meetings with Bournemouth in the EPL, and the other meeting ended in a draw.

When the first half began, Arsenal had won 1-0 over Bournemouth in the fifth minute.

The Gunners’ goal came from Gabriel Martinelli’s shot which was blocked by goalkeeper Mark Travers.

However, the ball rebounded and was struck by Martin Odegaard into the host’s goal.

Only six minutes later, Martin Odegaard scored his second goal.

However, the goal must be checked using VAR because there are indications of an offside.

Referee Craig Dawson decided to approve Martin Odegaard’s goal after viewing the VAR broadcast.

Mikel Arteta’s two-goal advantage lasted until the first half ended.

After halftime, coach Scott Parker brought on Lewis Cook and Jordan Anthony to replace Ben Pearson and Marcos Senesi.

Right in the 54th minute, Arsenal widened the advantage to be 3-0 through William Saliba.

William Saliba’s goal was created from a pass from Granit Xhaka.

Saliba, who is a defender from France, fired a shot from the boundary of the penalty box which led to the top right corner of the Bournemouth goal.

Arsenal’s ferocity in this match continues.

Precisely in the 73rd minute, it was Gabriel Jesus’ turn to score for Arsenal.

But Craig Dawson did not concede the goal, as Gabriel Jesus was first offside in the VAR replay.

Six minutes later, Bournemouth had a golden opportunity to score through Kieffer Moore.

But his header into the top right corner of the Arsenal goal, can be anticipated by Aaron Ramsdale.

In the 87th minute, Gabriel Jesus’ effort to score a goal was thwarted by Mark Travers.

Until the referee blew the long whistle, Arsenal’s three-goal advantage from Bournemouth lasted.

This victory makes Arsenal while firmly topped the EPL standings with nine points.

Arsenal have won three of their three Premier League games this season.
