Serie A results: Napoli beat Monza 4-0

Napoli successfully beat Monza with four goals without reply in the second week of Serie A.

The Napoli vs Monza match was held at the Diago Armando Maradona Stadium, Naples, Sunday.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored two Il Partenopei goals in the match against Monza.

Meanwhile, the other two goals were contributed by Victor Osimhen and Kim Min-jae.

Napoli appeared to be pressing since the early minutes and played dominant throughout the match.

The first opportunity was created by Hirving Lozano who spread danger in the 2nd minute.

However, the Mexican striker’s kick was still deviated from the Monza goal.

Napoli several times created opportunities through Victor Osimhen to defender Kim Min-jae. However, no goals have been scored yet.

The home team just broke the deadlock in the 35th minute through Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Kvaratskhelia successfully continued Piotr Zielinski’s pass into a goal through his sonteka. The score became 1-0.

Left behind, Monza was not moved. They conceded the goal again just before halftime.

Victor Osimhen was able to break into Monza’s goal through close range kicks. The score of 2-0 lasted until the first half ended.

In the second half, Napoli’s dominance continued.

Kvaratskhelia scored again in the 62nd minute after maximizing Stanislav Lobotka’s pass. The position is 3-0.

Monza had time to reduce the score in the 68th minute, after Andrea Petagna scored.

However, the goal was disallowed by VAR due to an early foul. In the remaining game time, not many chances were created by both teams.

Napoli were finally able to fulfill their victory to become 4-0 through Kim Min-jae’s goal which was created in the minute of injury time.

The South Korean defender headed the ball from a corner kick into the goal of Michele’s Monza di Gregorio.

The score 4-0 became the final result of Napoli’s match against Monza.

This result makes Napoli still perfect in the first two matches of the Italian League, with 6 points from two matches.

The club nicknamed Il Partenopei temporarily leads the Italian League standings thanks to a goal advantage, over Inter Milan (6).

Meanwhile, the defeat against Napoli made Monza immediately in the caretaker position.
