Brad Binder is preparing to compete in the MotoGP World Championship in 2023. He is very motivated to finish in the top three of the MotoGP standings this season.
The South African rider managed to score 188 World Cup points in 2022 and finished sixth in the final standings of the championship.
“I’m here to win. I want to make that clear. As long as we don’t achieve that, we’re all a little frustrated. We are all fighting for the same goal. We will never be completely satisfied until we fight for the top.” Binder said.
“The last two years have been pretty tough. It certainly hasn’t always been easy. We worked really hard and finished sixth in the championship twice. If we manage to take a small step forward, we can have much more.
“I want to fight for the top three. I think I am capable of that. That is my goal for the coming season.” Binder added.
Binder and Jack Miller will be back on track together for the first time in the first Official MotoGP Test of 2023, which is scheduled for February 10-12 at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia.
The Redbull KTM rider believes that his new teammate can play an important role and add value to the conscious last step.
“It’s great to have Jack on board. He comes with all the knowledge about the Ducati, which is currently the bike to beat.” Binder said.
“With his feeling and wealth of experience he can tell us which way to go. In the first test [in Valencia] he already discovered some interesting things.
“Hopefully that will get even better as the season progresses. Jack confirmed what we had told him about the bike.” Binder added.
Red Bull KTM Factory Racing on Thursday unveiled their colours and riders set to contest the longest campaign on record.
