Carlo Ancelotti claims there are parties who don’t want Real Madrid to win the 2023-2024 Spanish League!

Real Madrid coach, Carlo Ancelotti, said that many parties want his team not to win the 2023-2024 Spanish League. However, he said Los Blancos had been a balanced team since the start of the season so they could become champions.

Madrid officially became champions of the Spanish League this season after winning 3-0 over Cadiz at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, Saturday 4 May 2024 evening WIB. Meanwhile, Barcelona’s 2-4 defeat to Girona made El Real ensure they locked up the title.

This victory automatically means that Madrid will lock in the Spanish League title this season. The reason is, the 87 points collected can no longer be caught by Girona (74 points) and Barcelona (73 points) in a competition with only three matches remaining.

After officially winning the 2023-2024 Spanish League title, Ancelotti said that many people expected his team to make mistakes and slip up. However, he explained that Real Madrid was able to perform consistently so that it remained at the top of the standings.

“Everyone expected us to slip up and we didn’t slip up,” said Ancelotti, quoted from Real Madrid’s official website, Munggu (5/5/2024).

The Italian coach also said that Jude Bellingham had an important role in Real Madrid’s success in becoming champions. Apart from that, Ancelotti considers Madrid to be a team that has balance.

“Bellingham’s goal against Barcelona gave us the lead. “We had a lot of continuity from the first game to the last,” he concluded.

Madrid’s focus now remains on the 2023-2024 Champions League. They will host Bayern Munich on Thursday 9 May 2024 at 02.00 WIB at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, Madrid.

In the first leg, Madrid held Bayern 2-2 last week at the Alianz Arena Stadium. Both teams just need to win the match to advance to the final round.
