Defeat Everton, Arsenal Ahead Man United in the English League

Arsenal beat Everton 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium in the sixth week of the English Premier League 2018/2019, Sunday (23/9). Arsenal host Everton with a mission to get three points while improving the position in the Premier League standings. Victory can bring the London club to sixth. Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang became the stars of Arsenal’s victory. It was they who scored two of their team’s winning goals over Everton.

In the first round the game has Arsenal. The hosts not only attacked through the front line anyway from both full-backs.  Open opportunity made Nacho Monreal play as a left back firing in the 12th minute. But the efforts of the Spanish player failed to meet the target. As if not wanting to lose, it was Hector Bellerin’s turn to operate in the right sector of defense which could still be blocked by Everton’s defense.

The attack of the Gunners defender can be answered with threats from Richarlison. But the 21-year-old’s kick didn’t change the position.

The first half of Arsenal vs Erverton’s match took place quite hard. There were three yellow cards issued by referee Jonathan Moss for both clubs, two for Arsenal (Lucas Torreira and Sokratis) and one given to Lucas Digne from Everton.

At the beginning of the second half the visitors immediately gave the danger to Arsenal when defender Michael Keane’s header was thin from the opponent’s goal.

The goal awaited by the public, Mr. Rahmah finally created through Alexandre Lacazette’s right foot in the 56th minute. Receiving feedback from Aaron Ramsey, Lacazette’s curling shot into the top left corner of the goal could not be reached by Jordan Pickford.

Three minutes later it was Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s turn to put his name on the scoreboard. Starting from Mesut Oezil’s operand on the right side, the ball received by Ramsey was slightly directed at Aubameyang to cheat with his right foot and outwit Pickford.

At the end of the game Gylfi Sigurdsson tried to minimize the lag. But the Icelandic player’s shot can still be blocked by Arsenal’s defense.

The final score remains 2-0 for Arsenal’s victory. The additional three points make the Gunners rise to sixth in the Premier League standings with two points ahead of Manchester United. Victory over Everton is Arsenal’s fourth straight. They are now in 6th place with a collection of 12 points, only on goal difference from Tottenham Hotspur.
