Dendi Leaving Na'Vi, Now Na'Vi is Present with New Star

Dendi Leaving Na’Vi, Now Na’Vi is Present with New Star

Natus Vincere or known as Na’Vi has indeed skyrocketed their name throughout the world. Starting from its own large organization, to the achievements in its divisions that made this team even more brilliant. But there is one that can’t be separated from Na’Vi in the minds of its fans in the eSports industry. Is Danil “Dendi” Ishutin, for people who have long been following the development of eSports must know this figure. Especially you who follow the development of eSports in Dota 2.

The pro player that is famous for the Pudge signature hero is finally no longer a part of Na’Vi after approximately 8 years since 2010 ago. Dendi’s struggle with Na’Vi has gone through a variety of moments, from the first team to get the Aegis trophy at The International for the first time, to become The International 2012-2013 runner up. In addition, with Na’Vi, Dendi also made it through the glory of the Ukrainian team by winning several other major tournaments.

But throughout 2018, Na’Vi’s performance did not improve, and even tended to go up and down. And finally the CEO, Yevhen Zolotarov also confirmed the development of Na’Vi for the Dota 2 division through a video.

Yevhen Zolotarov revealed that if Na’Vi continued to build a team (Dota 2) with only one player, it was maintained to be very risky, because it did not guarantee the old player would immediately get good chemistry, both in the game and outside. We are currently unable to take this risk.

Zolotarov also revealed that the current Na’Vi roster that has been formed has collected 4 players. Two of them are Na’Vi old players while the other two are star pubs and former Vega Squadron Players.

Vladislav “Crystallize” Krystanek (Carry)
Magical (Pubstar Rank #40 Immortal Player)
Evgenily “Blizzy” Ree (ex-Vega Squadron)
TBD
Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev (Captain)

Magical Journey as pubstar has mainstay heroes with high winning potential, such as Templar Assassins, Storm Spirit and Tinker. Meanwhile, the four previous players were confirmed as depart from Na’Vi, such as Dendi, LiL, General and Velheor. Between being sad and wanting to see Na’Vi come back to life, it was sad to see the iconic player Dendi have to depart, but on the other hand the fans would want to see Na’Vi perform better in the future. The Coach Alexander “XBOCT” Dashkevich, who was a coach at this time, is also not part of Na’Vi. Goodbye to the old Na’Vi era, welcome the new start Na’Vi.

Even though it is no longer a part of Na’Vi, it doesn’t make Dendi retire from the world of eSports, especially Dota 2. It was also conveyed through his official Twitter account that Dendi will not retire and is looking for a team in the future. It is undeniable that Dendi’s career in the eSports industry, especially Dota 2, has also been quite a long time, it may be difficult to leave the industry despite some professional players to caster who also decided to retire, like Jimmy “DeMoN” Ho and caster/analyst Ben “Merlin” Wu.

Seeing Dendi’s decision to look for a partner/team for the future, there was also speculation whether Dendi would continue to play in the CIS region or to Europe and North America, not even close the possibility that Dendi would look at the Dota 2 competition in South East Asia. Wherever Dendi dock in his new team, hopefully it will be a new start and re-shine as usual.
