Cilic will surely rise again. He is a great tennis player and I am sure he will be in his best condition again. “

This meeting will be Ramos Vinolas’s third meeting against Federer with a head to head 1-1 draw. Federer won their first meeting at Wimbledon in the 2012 season.

Previously Albert Ramos Vinolas did not spend much time to book a place in the second round of the Zhuhai Championships after frustrating Yoshihito Nishioka.

Spaniard Ramos Vinolas claims 81 percent of his first serve and converted five of eight break points to defeat Nishioka.

Ramos Vinolas will face one of the young players – Casper Ruud or Miomir Kecmanovic – for one place in the quarterfinals.

Eighth seed, Ramos Vinolas, is ahead of Norwegian Ruud 3-0 and he has never met Serbian Kecmanovic at the ATP tournament.

British tennis player, Cameron Norrie also advanced to the second round in Zhuhai after overthrowing Peter Gojowczyk with 6-1, 6-4. Throughout the match which lasted 67 minutes, Norrie did not face a single break point and claimed 87 percent points from the first serve.
