Barcelona won 3-0 over Levante in the seventh week of the Spanish League at the Camp Nou Stadium, Sunday (26/9).
Victory over Levante helped end Barcelona’s negative trend. The Blaugrana failed to win in their last two matches in La Liga before picking up all three points over Levante.
Barcelona made three substitutions in this match from the team they last met against Cadiz. Meanwhile Levante made six changes to the squad that previously played against Celta Vigo.
Barcelona itself was not accompanied by Ronald Koeman. He was banned from appearing for two matches as a result of his expulsion in the match against Cadiz.
Barcelona’s goals were scored by Memphis Depay, Luuk de Jong and Ansu Fati.
Barcelona started the first half well. They are trying to set the tempo of the game. Barcelona only needed six minutes to open the scoring over Levante in this match. The goal came from a penalty that was executed by Memphis Depay.
The referee awarded a penalty after Depay was fouled by Nemanja Radoja in the box of 16.
Barcelona only needed eight minutes to increase the advantage to 2-0. The host’s goal this time was scored by loan player, Luuk de Jong.
De Jong fired a right-footed shot from inside the penalty box that thrilled Levante’s goal after receiving a through ball from right-back Sergino Dest.
