Manchester United to face Paris Saint-Germain in the last 16 of the Champions League on February 12, at Old Trafford. The Red Devils interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed that United will have almost a fully fit squad available on Tuesday night against PSG.
Solskjaer led the team to win 10 games, in the past 11 games, but the momentum is great. When it comes to the match against Ligue 1 champion, the Norwegian is full of confidence.
“I told the players that if we work hard every day in training, we can improve and maybe surprise many people.” Solskjaer said.
“If we are full of confidence, with our current state, I think this lineup has the ability to beat any opponent. You can’t look too far, but we just need to make sure that we play well in front of the game, every time we face a challenge.
“Since I took office, I have enjoyed every minute. At that time, we faced great challenges. We were far behind in the league. After losing to Liverpool, our confidence was low, but the rebound of the players was very good.
“Now we are in the best state of mind. We are looking forward to the next game, especially this contest with Paris Saint-Germain.” Solskjaer added.

Neymar and Edinson Cavani will not face United due to their injuries, but Solskjaer analysed the situation from another angle.
“Of course, any team that has fewer players like Neymar and Cavani will be affected, but this will give other players a chance, and for us, it is even harder to predict how to play in Paris.” Solskjaer said.
“Throughout the season, the performance of the Parisian trio has made you know what to face, but now we can only guess that we have a general idea of how they will play this game.” he added.
Solskjaer has made a special trip to France to watch the match between Paris Saint-Germain and Lyon, but he said: “It is difficult to compare, because in the domestic league, Paris thinks that they can win, and in the Champions League, their play may there will be differences.”
