Moroccan Coach: We’ve Made Great Achievements!

Morocco must admit France’s superiority in the semifinals of the 2022 World Cup with a score of 2-0.

Morocco will face Croatia for third place at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Morocco is the first African and Arab team to qualify for the semifinals of the World Cup.

Morocco coach Walid Reragui realizes that his team has made great achievements during the 2022 World Cup.

“We recognize that we have made a great achievement,” Redragui said as quoted by Reuters.

“We know that the media, both social media, and on TV, we see the pictures, and we see that everyone is proud of our country,” he continued.

Apart from that, Regragui also did not deny that his team was in the world’s attention during their appearance at the 2022 World Cup.

“I think the world as a whole is proud of this Moroccan team because we showed great will,” said Walid Reragugui.

“We work hard, and we play honest football and work hard.”

Walid Reragui said he changed his tactics to be more defensive in order to cope with the pace of the French wingers.

“In the World Cup, maybe this is one step too far,” said Reragugui as quoted by espn.

“Not in terms of quality or tactics, but physically we performed badly tonight,” he continued.

“We have too many players who are at 60 per cent and they have played for a few games now,” he continued.

“Today we had a lot of possession and they punished us when we had the ball. Congratulations to France, we will support them now,” said Reragugui.

Morocco will face Croatia for the third place in the 2022 World Cup on Saturday (17/12/2022).

“It will be difficult mentally,” Reragui said.

“I will give a chance to those who did not participate, and we will try to take third place.”

“The important thing is that we put in a good performance for our team, and football in Morocco is not far from being at the top level,” said Regragui.

Croatian striker Andrej Kramaric, however, has dismissed suggestions that the third-place match will be meaningless.

“I think if you ask Moroccan players this question I don’t think they will look like that,” Kramaric said at a news conference Thursday as quoted by espn.

“They are fighting for their lives because if you win a medal at the World Cup, you become an eternal hero in your country. It’s the same thing we will do,” he continued.

Morocco is the first African and Arab team to reach the semifinals of the World Cup.

However, the Atlas Lions trip ended with a 2-0 defeat to France in the semifinals.

Meanwhile, Croatia, who were 2018 World Cup finalists, lost 3-0 to Argentina in their bid to qualify for back-to-back World Cup finals.

“Eight of us from [tournaments in] Russia understand the feeling of winning medals at a World Cup and we have a lot of players who haven’t experienced it and want to do it because it’s something that will stay.” with you for life,” Kramaric added.
