Poland was finally able to close the match with a 2-1 victory thanks to Nicola Zalewski’s goal in the 90th minute.

Unfortunately, in this match Poland had to get bad news because their mainstay striker Robert Lewandowski was injured.

Lewandowski had to be withdrawn in the 32nd minute and replaced by Kacper Urbanski. Until this news was published, it was not known how serious Lewandowski’s injury was.

Not only Lewandowski who had to be sidelined due to injury. Frenkie De Jong was confirmed to be absent from defending the Dutch national team at Euro 2024 because he had not fully recovered from his injury.

Reported by Football Espana, De Jong could not hide his sadness at having to be absent from strengthening De Oranje at Euro 2024.
