Nico Rosberg leads Hamilton in the opening practice session at Suzuka, Japan

Japanese grand prix is catching all the attention and all eyes are set on who will win this championship. Motor racing enthusiasts are closely observing every movement and are keen on finding out any development about their favourite team.  In the 1st free practice session at the formula one Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka Nico Rosberg (Mercedes) was leading with a timing of 1:32:431 which was better than Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) 1:32:646.  Lewis Hamilton is already not in a good mood because of the engine blowout that forced him to retire while leading the Malaysian Formula One Grand Prix and is not putting up safeguards in place to avoid any repeat heading into this weekend’s race in Suzuka, Japan.

A fuming Hamilton who is 23 points behind Rosberg with just five of 21 races  remaining is wondering about what he needs to do and what is conspiring to deny him a fourth title.  Hamilton appeared almost distracted and withdrawn at the Thursday news conference at the Suzuka circuit.

Lewis Hamilton who heads into the race aiming to complete a hat trick of wins at Suzuka said “I feel the same as probably last year,” “I haven’t been thinking about the last race.”

Nico Rosberg clearly dominated the Friday’s opening session of practice for the Japanese Grand Prix. Rosberg was 0.215 quicker than Hamilton on a pleasant and sunny morning at the Suzuka circuit. The famous Mercedes pair were a second clear of the Ferrari duo of Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen who stood third and fourth fastest respectively.  As per this result now Hamilton heads into Sunday’s Japanese round desperately needing to revive his flagging title hops with just five races remaining by clinching a third consecutive win at the Suzuka racing circuit.

Daniel Ricciardo recorded fifth fastest after inheriting a win from Hamilton following his retirement in Malaysia. Red Bull team mate Max Verstappen claimed second position behind the Australian to secure the team’s first one two finish since the 2013 season ending Brazilian Grand Prix.

Force India, had to share the fourth standing with Williams. Hamilton spent much of his time on the news conference on his phone and uploading amusing pictures created of his fellow drivers seated around him, using Snapchat filters

When asked he said, “Hey man, we’ve been doing this a long, long time and it’s the same each time so got to keep adding new things to it.”
