One of the Italian clubs, AS Roma has officially signed a new goalkeeper in the 2022 summer transfer market. He is Mile Svilar, a Serbian-Belgian goalkeeper, who was brought in from Benfica.
Already officially introduced to the public, Mile Svilar said he couldn’t wait to join the other players in the training session. The 22-year-old goalkeeper was very passionate about training at AS Roma under the direction of Jose Mourinho.
As is known, Mile Svilar officially signed a contract with AS Roma on Saturday (2/7/2022). He was brought in from Benfica on a free transfer. His contract has ended with Benfica.
Mile Svilar spent five years with Benfica after joining from Anderlecht. He has made 23 first-team appearances, keeping eight clean sheets and conceding 20 goals.
After officially joining, Mile Svilar said he was happy to be part of the Giallorossi (AS Roma’s nickname). Moreover, he is so enthusiastic and can’t wait to immediately play under Jose Mourinho.
