Paul Pogba responded to Keane’s critics: I Am Not Paid to Make Comments

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba responded to the criticism directed at him, including from Roy Keane, saying he was not paid to comment.

Pogba’s career at United did not go smoothly. Different from the moment where he still defended Juventus.

While at Old Trafford, Pogba experienced ups and downs. He got praise shortly after being handled by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

But after a while, the performance decreased again. As a result he also received scathing criticism from many parties repeatedly.

One person who is keen to criticize Pogba is the legend of the Red Devils themselves, Roy Keane. The Irishman has suggested that MU sell the Frenchman.

Most recently, he called Pogba only a problem at MU. The criticism came after United were made to Everton 4-0.

“I won’t believe anything he says. There is no meaning,” Keane said as quoted by the Independent.

“This person is talented, but several times I saw him in the game and did not join in. He was a problem,” Keane snapped.

These criticisms were then asked of Pogba. “There is no problem,” he answered at RMC.

“They are paid to say things in front of the camera. I only focus on what happens on the field,” he said.

“They can say what they want, they are paid for it. I am not paid to speak,” he stressed.

“I was paid to be on the field and fight for my team. That’s all,” concluded Pogba.
