Pirlo Now Can Only Help Juventus Aim for the Big Four

The 2-1 victory over Napoli makes Juventus now perched in third place in the 2020-2021 Italian League standings. Even though they have moved up one position, the distance between Juventus and Inter Milan, which is in the first place, is still too far away.

To be precise, Juventus are 12 points behind Inter. With the Italian League 2020-2021 only nine matches left, Pirlo finds it difficult for Juventus to be able to overtake Antonio Conte’s squad.

As a result, now Pirlo is only targeting Juventus to finish in the top four in the 2020-2021 Italian League standings. The top four are the target of Pirlo in order to get a ticket to the Champions League next season.

“Our goal now is to finish in the top four, because it is difficult for us to reach the top of the standings. We still have nine games left, we hope to win the rest of the season, and then prepare for the Coppa Italia, “Pirlo said, launching from Football Italia, Thursday (8/4/2021).

Pirlo himself was actually disappointed because he failed to continue the Juventus title in the Italian League. He admitted that he had made many mistakes which cost Juventus in the end.

Pirlo argued it all happened because this year was his first season as a coach. However, he promised that he would learn from this valuable experience.

The Italian coach said he had learned a lot from his experience while handling Juventus. He also hopes that he won’t make the same mistakes again in the future.

“I have made a lot of mistakes, but I will try to fix them all again. This is my first season (coaching a club), I need that experience for the present and the future, “continued Pirlo.

“This is a more complicated campaign not only for me, but also for many other coaches. Everyone has made mistakes, including me, but I can learn from it and hope not to repeat it in the future, “he concluded.
