Premier League Results: Firmino Hattrick, Liverpool Win 5-0

Liverpool managed to beat Watford with a score of 5-0 in the Premier League match at Vicarage Road, Saturday (16/10). This match was marked by a Roberto Firmino hat trick.

Liverpool have won 1-0 through Sadio Mane in the ninth minute. This goal stems from Liverpool’s quick attack scheme.

Mohamed Salah who had the ball saw Sadio Mane run. Salah sent a measured pass that was in the direction of Mane.

Mane chose to immediately release a kick that could not be blocked by Ben Foster. For Mane, the goal was the 100th goal he scored in the Premier League.

Liverpool then doubled their advantage in the 37th minute through Roberto Firmino. The Reds displayed good team organization in the process of this goal.

The cooperation of Firmino, James Milner, and Mane was ended by Milner’s horizontal cross towards Firmino. The Brazilian striker had no trouble sending the ball into the empty net.

Winning two goals in the first half, Liverpool did not want to reduce the attack. Firmino successfully changed the score to 3-0 in the 52nd minute.

The Brazilian striker was able to take advantage of the negligence of Watford’s back line when he welcomed Andy Robertson’s pass into the penalty box. Firmino grabbed a wild ball and struck the ball into an empty Watford net.

Three minutes later, Salah finally listed his name on the scoreboard. Getting the ball from Firmino, Salah was surrounded by three Watford players in the penalty box.

But Salah was able to escape the siege, tricking and sending the ball to the far post and making Ben Foster just stunned to see the ball go into the goal.

Firmino then confirmed a hat trick in injury time. Firmino’s goal made Liverpool win 5-0 at the end of the match.

This is Salah’s seventh goal in the Premier League this season. In fact, Salah has always managed to score in the last six matches in the Premier League in a row.

Salah’s impressive and consistent performances have made him the best player in the world.

Not only people called Salah the best player in the world, but Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp also admitted that the Egyptian striker deserves to be recognized as the world’s best player.

“Come on, who is better than Mo [Salah] at the moment? He has consistency. He has always been there [the best] in the last 4 or 5 years, he is amazing. He is the best,” Klopp said after the match quoted from BTSport .

“He is a top-class professional who trains hard. Physically and tactically, he is the best professional player. For me Mo is the best [in the world]. Lewandowski, Ronaldo, Messi, Mbappe and others may also be there. But , at this time, it must be Mo who is in the red circle.”

Former Liverpool player Steve McManaman also called Salah the best player in the world.

“Mo Salah is the best player in the world. He did it, did it, and did it. Nobody plays football better than him right now,” said McManaman.

Former Chelsea player Joe Cole also admits Mohamed Salah is the best in the Premier League at the moment.

“Mo Salah is the best player in the country at the moment,” said Joe Cole.
