Manchester United managed to bring home three points from Luton Town headquarters in Week 25 of the 2023-2024 Premier League, on Sunday (18/2/2024). Playing at Kenilworth Road, the team nicknamed the Red Devils won with a narrow score of 2-1.
Man United’s two goals were scored by Rasmus Hojlund who went berserk at the start of the match. Because Hojlund scored his goals in the first and seventh minutes.
With this narrow victory, Erik Ten Hag’s team is now more comfortable in sixth place with 44 points. They are only three points behind Tottenham Hotspur who are in fifth position.
Meanwhile, Luton Town is now on the verge of the relegation zone. They are precisely in 17th position with 20 points.
Playing at home, Man United quickly adapted to the game and immediately surprised the home team thanks to Hojlund’s quick goal.
Then six minutes later Hojlund put his name on the scoreboard again. This time Hojlund managed to score a goal after continuing a sweet pass from Alejandro Garnacho.

Hojlund set the record when he was 21 years and 14 days old. He broke Newcastle United’s record, Joe Willock, when he was 21 years 272 days old.
This record is also younger than famous strikers such as Erling Haaland, Romelu Lukaku and Thierry Henry. Because, they only recorded the same impressive achievements at the age of 22 years.
Not only that, Hojlund also emerged as the best player in the match. Of course, this adds to the complete positive achievements for the Copenhagen-born footballer.
