Pulisic Hattrick, Chelsea Win Over Burnley in the Premier League

Chelsea successfully won over host Burnley by a score of 4-2 in the Premier League match at Turf Moor. Christian Pulisic became the star of victory through a hat trick scored in this match.

Chelsea managed to lead two goals in the first round through Christian Pulisic. The United States player showed his quality in the process of two goals created against Burnley.

In the process of the first goal scored by Pulisic in the 21st minute, the former Borussia Dortmund player grabbed the ball in the middle of the field then ran fast into the Burnley penalty box.

In the midst of the strict defense of the Burnley defenders, Pulisic successfully scored with a cross that was unable to be held by Nick Pope.

At the end of the first half, Pulisic managed to register his name on the scoreboard for the second time. Pulisic again led the Chelsea attack and carried out individual actions to break through Burnley’s defense.

In the process of the second goal, Pulisic kicks off the right foot towards the near post. The ball that had hit the Burnley defender makes Pope off step and helpless to see the ball into the goal.

After giving Chelsea a 2-0 lead in the first round, Pulisic finally sealed a hat-trick record in the 56th minute. Mason Mount’s bait into the penalty box was successfully completed by Pulisic’s header.

Willian then brought Chelsea 4-0 up in the 58th minute. Get cross ball from Tammy Abraham, Willian release a cross that makes the ball nest in the right corner of Burnley’s goal.

After winning 4-0, the Blues made a number of substitutions. Frank Lampard pulled out Willian and Tammy Abraham to be replaced by Callum Hudson Odoi and Olivier Giroud.

In the final five minutes of the second half, it was Burnley who successfully scored two replies. Jay Rodriguez’s long-distance kick followed by Dwight McNeil’s goal made Burnley reduce the score to 4-2 which lasted until the end of the match.

Three goals set against Burnley made Pulisic break several records. One of them is a record held by Chelsea legend, Didier Drogba.

Pulisic became the first player after Drogba to score three goals with his left foot, right foot and head. Drogba did the same with Wigan Athletic in the 2009/2010 season in the English Premier League.

The former Borussia Dortmund player became the youngest Chelsea player to score a hat trick. Pulisic defeated the incision previously held by his team mate, Tammy Abraham.

Abraham broke into the opponent’s goal three times when the West London team defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers 5-2, 14 September. However, Pulisic broke Abraham’s record because he was only 21 years 38 days old when he scored a hat trick.

Pulisic also became the second US player to score three goals in one match in the English League. He followed in the footsteps of Clint Dempsey who first made a similar note in 2012.

Hattrick who netted Pulisic helped Chelsea pushed into fourth place in the English League standings with 20 points. Frank Lampard’s squad is five points adrift of the top of the table occupied by Liverpool.
