Recap EPICENTER Major – Seventh Day: Defeat TNC, Virtus.pro Make Sure the Top 3 Position

EPICENTER Major 2019 of the seventh day has ended. On this seventh day, there are 3 matches where 2 teams are certain to fall and we have got the remaining 3 teams who will be the winners in the DPC 201819 season closing event.

In the first match, there was a Southeast Asian giant who was on fire since the arrival of Heen, the new TNC Predator coach who used to be Team Liquid’s coach when he won The International 2017, against a Chinese team, PSG.LGD.

In the first game, Gabbi who played Bristleback managed to bring TNC Predator to secure the first game.

In the second game, Gabbi again became the backbone of TNC Predator with his Juggernaut. TNC Predator also won 2 games directly from PSG.LGD and made the Chinese team have to fall.

In the second match, the home team, namely Virtus.pro faced Alliance, who just yesterday got the last ticket to The International 2019 through Direct Invite.

Virtus.pro seems to be too powerful for Alliance, this is evidenced by VP which defeated Alliance 2 games directly thanks to the dominance of mid by No [o] ne-.

In the last match, VP and TNC Predator will return to play to compete for the top 3 in this closing tournament.

In the first game, VP managed to bulldoze TNC with the dominance shown at the start of the match. Weaver from Ramzes666 was completely untouched so TNC had to give up the first game.

In the second game, the game runs with a slow tempo. TNC who had the upper hand had to suffer comeback due to Silencer with Global Silence plus Refresher Orb from Solo and also IO from RodjER with the Desolator.

With this, VP will fight Team Liquid to compete for 1 place in the final of the 2019 EPICENTER where Vici Gaming is in the final.

VP and Team Liquid will play in the Lower Bracket Finals with the BO3 format. For the losers, they will win the third place by bringing home 100,000 US dollars and 2100 DPC Points.

Today is the last day of the 2019 EPICENTER Major event and will be followed by the International 2019 open qualification.
