Serie A Results: Juventus vs Sampdoria Score 3-2

Juventus continued their slick streak in Serie A. On Sunday (26/9/2021), Massimiliano Allegri’s men recorded their second three points after beating Sampdoria 3-2 at the Allianz Stadium.

Juventus started the game quickly and aggressively. The result, the first goal was created in the 10th minute through the action of the star, Paulo Dybala. The Argentinean took advantage of a short pass from Manuel Locatelli from outside the penalty box.

Juventus’ aggressiveness has not diminished at all. Less than five minutes since the first goal was created, the Bianconeri created two golden opportunities from Federico Chiesa and Alvaro Morata. Juventus could have been 2-0 up at this moment.

Penalty! Juventus’ second goal arrived near the end of the match. Chiesa’s kick hit Nicola Murru’s hand, causing the referee to point to the spot. Leonardo Bonucci who was appointed as the executor was able to do his job very well. 2-0.

Unfortunately, not long after the first goal occurred, Juventus was caught off guard and allowed Sampdoria to score one goal through Maya Yoshida’s header. Position 2-1 for the hosts lasted until the break.

Juventus continued their attacking mode in the second half. However, unlike before, they seemed calmer. The players played the ball from left to right to stretch the Sampdoria defense.

The result is seen in the 57th minute. Dejan Kulusevski was observant enough to see the ball rolling in a narrow gap, and immediately made a stab. He lure Emil Audero out of his net before giving a pass to Manuel Locatelli who only had to slot the ball into an empty net. 3-1.

Barely! Juventus almost got their fourth goal in the 74th minute. Rodrigo Bentancur gets a shooting space outside the penalty box. After outwitting one player, he fired a powerful shot that Emil Audero could stop. Too bad!

Juventus made a dangerous counter-attack once in the 80th minute. Aaron Ramsey received the ball in an under-marked area and gave it to Morata. The Spaniard seemed exhausted and failed to aim at the goal properly.

Goal! Sampdoria managed to reduce the position in the 84th minute. Adrien Silva sent the ball into an empty space in the penalty box which was immediately struck by Antonio Candreva to score. 2-3, hope for Sampdoria!

Unfortunately, Sampdoria could not take advantage of the remaining minutes. Juventus won with a score of 3-2 and has the right to move up to eighth position in the standings. While Sampdoria stuck in 14th place.
