Italian giant AC Milan has a great opportunity to recruit two Real Madrid strikers, namely Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic.
Jovic and Hazard are targeted by AC Milan in the transfer market next summer.
However, before recruiting the two Real Madrid strikers, the AC Milan camp is reportedly going to first ask a few questions regarding them.
According to AS, reported by thehardtackle, Wednesday (30/3) AC Milan technical director Paulo Maldini will have a meeting with Real Madrid.
The meeting will discuss the future of Brahim Diaz which the Rossoneri are interested in signing him on a permanent basis. On this occasion, Maldini is reportedly also going to ask some questions about Hazard and Jovic.
According to Spanish media, Hazard and Jovic could be given the chance to find new places this summer. Hazard and Jovic joined Madrid in the summer of 2019.
After spending big money, their contribution fell short of expectations. Their performances have even declined from year to year for various reasons, one of which is injury.
These two players became overlooked by the coach. Therefore leaving the Santiago Bernabeu may be the right move for them. Milan can provide a way out for Hazard and Jovic.
The Italian giants are likely to enter the transfer market to establish themselves as the most dominant force in Serie A.
Apart from the two, Milan are also interested in Marco Asensio. Jovic could be an addition to Milan’s centre-forward considering that Olivier Giroud is over 30 and Zlatan Ibrahimovic is on the verge of ending his career as a professional footballer.
While Hazard can provide competition to Rafael Leao. It will be interesting whether Madrid will respond to Milan’s approach regarding Hazard and Jovic in the next meeting.
According to the report, AC Milan will not immediately buy Hazard in the summer. They are still worried that Hazard will flop again. So they don’t want to rush to buy it. They plan to borrow it first for one season.
If his performance is felt to be back, then Milan will make him permanent from Real Madrid.
If they don’t join AC Milan, it is likely that there will be other applicants who are ready to accommodate Hazard and Jovic in the summer transfer market.
Eden Hazard has almost finished his contract at Real Madrid. He can withdraw as a free agent in 2024.
Real Madrid are reportedly still priced at the playmaker at 32 million Euros in the summer.
