Chelsea failed to win against Sheffield United in Week 32 of the 2023/2024 Premier League at Bramall Lane, Sunday (07/03/2024).
This duel was quite tough. Sheffield made Chelsea quite troublesome.
Sheffield’s goals were scored by Jayden Bogle and Ollie McBurnie. Meanwhile Chelsea’s goals were scored by Thiago Silva and Noni Madueke.
This result makes Chelsea score 44 points and has now risen to ninth position in the 2023/2024 Premier League standings. Meanwhile Sheffield is in 20th place, aka at the bottom of the standings with a collection of only 16 points.
Initially this match was tough. Chelsea controlled the match but had difficulty posing a threat to Sheffield United’s defense.

However, Chelsea was able to score first. In the 66th minute the Blues attacked from the right through Noni Madueke. He cuts into the center from the right. With his left foot he then fired a shot into the left side of the goal. 1-2!
Sheffield then tried to get up. The match became even more intense.
But on the other hand, Chelsea is also trying to continue to pressure Sheffield. Unfortunately they couldn’t maintain their lead.
In the 90+3 minute, Oli McBurnie received a pass from McBurnie in the penalty box. With his right foot he then broke into the Chelsea goal in the penalty box. VAR checked the goal but in the end the goal was declared valid. 2-2!
