Thomas Tuchel Would Not be Upset If Chelsea Failed to land Haaland

Chelsea coach, Thomas Tuchel, commented on the possibility of Erling Haaland failing to land at his club. Tuchel also emphasized that he would not be upset if Chelsea failed to land Haaland in the end.

As is known, Haaland has indeed succeeded in becoming a sensation when he appeared so sharp with RB Salzburg in the 2019-2020 season. His sharpness also led Haaland to be proposed by Borussia Dortmund in the 2020 winter transfer market.

With Dortmund, Haaland’s impressive performance did not decline at all. Even the striker of the Norwegian national team managed to become a goal machine for Die Borussen – Dortmund’s nickname.

Even in the 2020-2021 season, Haaland has contributed 37 goals from 38 appearances for Dortmund. Thanks to this impressive performance, it is only natural that many top European clubs have an interest in Haaland.

Some of the clubs that are reportedly interested in Haaland are Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Manchester City. All the teams mentioned are even ready to pour out large funds in order to get Haaland.

Chelsea is also the club most eager to get Haaland, considering their attack line performance this season is far from impressive. The performance of Tim Werner, Tammy Abraham, and Olivier Giroud was considered very disappointing.

However, Chelsea’s chances of getting Haaland are actually quite small. Moreover, Haaland is said to be more interested in continuing his career with Man City. Tuchel also admitted that he would not be disappointed if in the end Haaland failed to anchor to Stamford Bridge Stadium in the summer of 2021.

“It’s not about me expecting an A or B player and if they don’t come I’ll be angry. I’ve never been like that in my entire career, “said Tuchel, as adapted from the London Football, Monday (3/5/2021).

“I fully understand there are problems that must be resolved with agents, players, the interests of the club. It’s not just about me and my desires. I have an opinion on what we can add to the group for the better. This is my job, “the German coach finished.
