TI9 Recap - Day Four: Team Liquid Through the Main Event Round of the Lower Bracket

TI9 Recap – Day Four: Team Liquid Through the Main Event Round of the Lower Bracket

The fourth day of The International 2019 is over, hereby ending the group round of The International 2019 and the next will enter the main event round.

On the fourth day of The International 2019, there was a team that followed in the footsteps of the Chaos Esports Club to fall from the most awaited tournament by the Dota 2 community, namely Ninja in Pajamas.

For who missed information about the fourth day of The International 2019, SportReviews has recapitulated the important things, and the following is a recap:

Evil Geniuses and Virtus.pro Head for the Upper Bracket

Starting The International 2019 with poor performance, Evil Geniuses and Virtus.pro immediately received insults from the Dota 2 community.

Both Evil Geniuses and Virtus.pro also tried to get up and it worked. On the closing day of this round of TI9, EG and VP were ranked 3rd and 4. EG and VP met on the first match of TI9’s fourth day and had to settle for sharing points.

Then in their second match, EG defeated Ninja in Pajamas, and VP defeated Fnatic. With this result, EG and VP will advance to the main event round through the upper bracket.

Team Liquid has fallen to the Lower Bracket

Team Liquid seems to be content to advance to the main event round through the lower bracket after appearing less convincing throughout The International 2019 group stages.

On the fourth day, Team Liquid was truly “slaughtered” by the care of its former coach, namely Heen who now occupies the TNC Predator training chair. With these results, TNC Predator passes to the upper bracket.

The International Standings Final Round 2019

Newbee, TNC Predator, ViCi Gaming, Evil Geniuses, and Virtus.pro successfully followed the steps of PSG.LGD, Team Secret, and OG to the upper bracket.

Whereas Alliance, Mineski, Team Liquid, Keen Gaming, Fnatic, Infamous, Na’Vi and Royal Never Give Up had to settle for advancing to the 2019 International event round through the lower bracket.

Ninja in Pajamas must also be willing to follow the steps of the Chaos Esports Club to be eliminated from the title of The International 2019.

Main Event The International Bracket 2019

The International 2019 event will be held on August 20, 2019, where there will be 6 matches on the 20th.

The proper match on the 20th of August is the match between PSG.LGD against Virtus, pro and Fnatic against Team Liquid.

PSG.LGD certainly does not want to be ashamed as a host and will perform an all-out throughout TI9, while Team Liquid certainly does not want to go home earlier, as does Fnatic who in the previous 2 TI series always left early.
