To Fire Ten Hag, MU need to Prepare £15 million

Manchester United will have to incur high costs if they want to fire the coach, Erik ten Hag. Erik ten Hag’s leadership at Man United has been in turmoil following the minor results obtained by the Red Devils against Newcastle in the last 16 of the 2023-2024 English League Cup.

Erik ten Hag’s Man United fell 0-3 to Newcastle at Old Trafford Stadium on Thursday (2/11/2023). This was Man United’s second defeat in a row at Old Trafford Stadium. Previously, the Red Devils were beaten by Man City 0-3 in the Premier League on Sunday (29/10/2023).

According to Squawka, Man United has had a bad record because they lost consecutively at home with a score of 0-3 or more for the first time in 61 years. Overall, Man United has lost eight times out of a total of 15 matches in the 2023-2024 season.

Fans are starting to doubt Erik ten Hag’s quality in managing the Manchester United squad. However, it is not easy to expel Erik ten Hag from Old Trafford because Man United will have to incur large costs. According to a Sky Sports report, Man United would have to spend £15 million if they wanted to fire Erik ten Hag.

Meanwhile, Erik ten Hag has apologized to fans for the poor performance shown by Man United. The Dutch coach also realized that Man United’s performance was below standard. “We know this is not good enough. We have to be responsible, and so do I,” said Ten Hag. “I have to say sorry to the fans because we were below standard, we have to do it right,” he added.

However, Erik ten Hag did not want to get lost in disappointment. He emphasized that Man United must rise up when playing against Fulham. Man United will have a duel against Fulham in Week 11 of the 2023-2024 Premier League. The Fulham vs Man United match is scheduled to take place at Craven Cottage Stadium on Saturday (4/11/2023).

“We have to recover quickly. Saturday is the next match (against Fulham) and we have to raise our standards,” said Ten Hag. “We have enough quality, the players will come back, but we know, it’s not good enough,” he explained.
