According to former Chelsea man Glen Johnson, if Liverpool want their glory to return to the Premier League stage, then signing Haaland is the thing to do. Because, Haaland has shown his quality as an accomplished goal scorer.
After all, recruiting Haaland was not considered a disadvantage. It is undeniable that Dortmund will sell it at an exorbitant price, at least 100 million euros, but the buying club will also benefit.

However, Johnson believes that there will be fierce competition to get Haaland. According to him, Man City will be the most interested, considering that Sergio Aguero is no longer young and often hit by injuries.
“The Premier League clubs will want him, because that would be a case of not wanting to be overlooked by anyone. If Man City took aim at him, Liverpool would think: ‘We can’t let City have him,’ explained Johnson.
“And it can be tough competition. I think there will be lots of clubs who want it if they can afford it, “concluded Johnson.
