While Hughie Fury struggles with back issues, his heavyweight cousin Tyson Fury is vowing to return to the ring as fit as ever.
The British boxer has tweeted he will be back in the ring to prove all the doubters wrong.
The cousins are set to claim they failed their drugs tests after eating vast amounts of contaminated boar pig.
Fury said although many had not given him the benefit of the doubt to get back in the ring, he would be doing so.
“The thing is I’ve made me mind up, I am definitely definitely going to return. God willing, I will return. I will return to my best.”
“I don’t believe, on a serious note, there’s a heavyweight out there who can lace my boots up, any of them and I’m going to prove the world wrong, yet again.”
“They didn’t give me a prayer last time, and a lot of people didn’t even give me a prayer to lose the weight. But I will do it, 100%.”
Charges against the cousins will be heard by the national anti-doping panel in May and the Fury camp have boasted confidence to avoid any ban.
They argue they unwittingly tested positive for a banned steroid because they eat a whole boar, including its internal organs and entrails, between them each week.
Hughie Fury pulled out of his May 6 fight with Kiwi Joseph Parker in Auckland for the WBO heavyweight title, citing a back injury.
That has left Parker’s handlers scrambling for a last-minute opponent with the WBO quickly sanctioning a voluntary defence against one of their other top 15 fighters.
Romanian challenger Razvan Cojanu will instead fight Parker in Auckland next week.
