Zlatan Ibrahimovic Still Wants to Win More Trophies

AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic said still want to play football as much as possible before hanging up his boots.

Ibrahimovic turned 40 on October 3, and he continues to be one of Europe’s elite strikers as an undisputed starter for Milan when fit.

“I still feel the strongest of all. Right now I want to play as much as possible, bring results and joys to the fans. We will see the availability of the club, the project is different.” Ibrahimovic said.

“In the last year and a half in which I have been here we have created something important, different from AC Milan in previous years.” Ibrahimovic added.

Ibrahimovic has scored and won league titles in four different decades. However long is left for the former Manchester United striker, his talent is one that isn’t seen very often. He scored on his return from injury to help Milan to a 2-0 win over Lazio at San Siro on September 12.

“San Siro seems full already with half of the fans present. We can’t wait for the other half to be there to make it vibrate even more. Never be satisfied.” Ibrahimovic said.

“This was the mentality that allowed me to go this far, I’m trying to pass it on to my children. It’s all a matter of mind, you can always do more.

“I still want to win some trophies. I hope to do it with this team, it would be the best we can do.” Ibrahimovic added.

Ibrahimovic has had 13 coaches since he left Malmo in Sweden, playing for the likes for Jose Mourinho, Laurent Blanc, Carlo Ancelotti, Max Allegri, Pep Guardiola, Roberto Mancini, Fabio Capello and Ronald Koeman.
