Zarco wants to keep up his Australian Grand Prix momentum

Yamaha  Tech3’s rider Johann Zarco told media that he hoped to carry his great momentum from Australia GP into next serie in Sepang, Malaysia,  this weekend.

The Frenchman at Tech3 has experienced some strong moments that have made him even more experienced. Zarco goals to challenge for a podium finish in Malysia to strengthen his attempt to complete the year as the Top Independent rider in the World Championship.

Zarco finished at fourth in the last lap of Australian GP, but he also led a good part of it and was totally in a merciless battle with the top rider in the category.

“The Australian Grand Prix  was incredible and I am so happy to have felt all feelings on my bike.” Zarco told media.

“So, I hope this weekend I can fight for the podium and even the victory with the best riders. Just like I did at Phillip Island. Sepang is a nice track, and I believe my experience after almost a full seasonI had done the tests during the offseason and I’m making back now with more experience.

“The weather will be difficult as it always so hot in Malaysia. This is why I need to prepare and manage myself well with the team and save my energy so that I can be strong in the Grand Prix. I will take it easy but I aim to battle for the podium once more.” Zarco added.

For once, it is with a new team that Zarco will live this penultimate appointment of the season and Michael Van der Mark will be there. It will be looked back that the Frenceh rider is already conviced of the status of the best beginner of the year in MotoGP

Movistar Yamaha’s Valentino Rossi and his team-mate  on the other hand, they have also hoped to keep up their Australian GP into Malaysia this weekend.

Rossi finished at second, he had a strong race in Australia and clawed back crucial championshi[ points to go up to fourth place in the MotoGP standings. This weekend the Doctor hopes to reach first podium in Sepang.

Rossi’s team-mate Maverick Vinales last year secured six place in Sepang. This weekend he hoped to improve his last memorie at the same place.
