Chelsea returned to the fourth position of the Premier League, and led by arsenal behind by 2 points after 1-1 draw against Manchester United.
Regarding to the game, Chelsea coach Maurizio Sarri expressed his opinion after the game.
“We have some problems with the position on the ground. The distance between the midfield and the striker is too long, and it is difficult for us to regain the ball.” Sarri said.
“In the last part of the first half we performed better and the second half was also very good. We had a huge chance at the end of the game, but unfortunately we missed it. It is not easy to play against Manchester United here.” Sarri added.
“We still need two wins, so we can ensure the fourth position. If we get 4 points, it depends on the difference between the goal difference. We reached in the final of the League Cup, we are fighting for the top four in the Premier League, and we also played the semi-finals of the Europa League. We have had a good season and now we need to achieve our two very important goals.” Sarri added.
Sarri provided an injury update on Toni Rudiger and Willian who both went off. The Italian manager insisted that Rudiger will be out in the next match.
“The most serious situation is Antonio Rudiger with his knee. Willian is in trouble at the moment but I think it’s only a knock so we can try to recover him. For the next match in the Europa League probably Antonio will be out.” Sarri said.
At the same time, former Napoli manager also gave some support to Higuain, who has never been in the best condition.
“For a striker, it is difficult to adapt to the Premier League. I remember that Suarez only made 3 goals in Liverpool’s first season. But it is difficult to adapt to the Premier League, I think he will score more goals next season.” Sarri said.
