In the second leg of the UCL round of 16, Bayern Munich managed to beat Salzburg with a landslide score of 7-1.
Bayern Muchen vs RB Salzburg in the 2021/22 Champions League continued at the Allianz Arena, Tuesday (8/3/2022).
Bayern Munich appeared very mighty in front of his supporters. Julian Nagelsmann’s team went berserk after having struggled in the first leg.
Bayern’s party of seven goals this time was scored by four different players. Robert Lewandowski with a hat-trick (12′, 21′, 23′), Thomas Muller two goals (54′, 83′), with the rest Serge Gnabry (31′) and Leroy Sane (83′).
This landslide victory led Bayern to the quarter-finals. This season, Bayern again became one of the favorites to win.
Bayern immediately kicked off as the game started. Just two minutes, Lewandowski forced Kohn to make a brilliant save.
The 12th minute, Bayern finally found their first goal. Lewandowski Wober dropped in the forbidden box. Penalty, Lewandowski’s execution was hard and perfect.
In the 20th minute, Bayern again got a penalty. It was again Wober who violated Lewandowski. The Polish striker executed the ball with the exact same.
The 23rd minute, Lewandowski wrapped a hat trick. Muller’s cross forced Kohn off the goal line. Even so, it was Lewandowski who arrived first and deflected the ball.
The match was not even 30 minutes and Bayern was three goals ahead. Salzburg was clearly distraught to face the onslaught of Bayern.
The 31st minute, Bayern scored the fourth goal. Quick counterattack, Coman served Gnabry who ran at the far post.
Bayern immediately kicked off in the second half. Not much difference, but Salzburg tried to be careful not to concede again.
54th minute, Bayern scored their fifth goal. Attacks from the middle, Sane’s breakthrough bait split the opponent’s defense and served Muller in the penalty box.
Both coaches made a number of substitutions until the 65th minute. The tempo of the match was slightly affected, Salzburg had the opportunity to breathe for a moment.
The 70th minute, Salzburg scored one goal back. Aaronson went unmarked to send a cross for Kjaergaard. Goal! Hard kick into the corner of the goal. Score changed Bayern 5-1 Salzburg.
The 83rd minute, Bayern have not stopped scoring goals. The combination of Sane and Muller is unstoppable. Inside the penalty box, Muller sent a curling shot into the top right corner.
Bayern wrapped up their victory with a goal in the 85th minute. This time it was Sane’s turn to finish Lewandowski’s pass with a hard kick into the top side of the opponent’s net. The score changed to Bayern 7-1 Salzburg.
This goal at once closed Bayern’s victory party. Score 7-1 (agg. 8-2) for FC Hollywood win.
