Lionel Messi Has Apologized To PSG, This Former Les Parisiens Midfielder Is Still Unhappy!

Megastar Argentina, Lionel Messi recently apologised to his club, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). The apology followed his leaving training for a trip to Saudi Arabia.

However, the former Les Parisiens midfielder (PSG’s nickname), Jerome Rothen is still not happy with Lionel Messi’s attitude. In fact, Rothen said PSG did not need Lionel Messi to win the 2022-2023 French League.

“I’m not a manager but my opinion is simple. I give the responsibility to Messi. Has he been there for two years, is his investment in the pitch sufficient and forgivable? The answer is no,” he was quoted as saying by Tutto Mercato.

“He made a mistake, he admits it. So this means PSG has the right to sanction him because it was a professional mistake,” he added.

Furthermore, Rothen has no problem if Lionel Messi will really leave PSG at the end of this season. Because for him, Lionel Messi has made a fatal mistake.

“For me, PSG don’t need Messi to be the champion of France,” he said.

“Knowing that he wasn’t going to be renewed and he was leaving, that the adventure ended like this.”

Meanwhile, Lionel Messi’s future at PSG is still a mystery. However, journalist from Italy, Fabrizio Romano has made a statement, if the player nicknamed La Pulga is certain to leave PSG at the end of the 2022-2023 season.

“Messi will leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season. There is no doubt about that anymore, “wrote Romano in his tweet on Twitter, Wednesday 3 May 2023 ago.

“It is known that Leo’s father, Jorge, has communicated this decision (Messi’s departure to Saudi Arabia) to PSG one month ago because of the project,” concluded Romano
