The Danish national team coach, Kasper Hjulmand, claims that his team is ready to surprise the German national team in the last 16 of Euro 2024. The coach ensures that the Danish national team will not be afraid even though they will face Germany, who are the hosts.
The Germany vs Denmark match will be held at Signal Iduna Park, Dortmund, Sunday (30/6/2024). The match is scheduled to take place at 02.00.
Kasper Hjulmand said his team must be fully prepared to face the German national team, which is the favorite in the European football party. He confirmed that the Danish national team also has qualities that are worth considering.
“Before the tournament I said they were the favorites. It’s a shame we have played against them, but we also have a great team. They have to play very well against us,” said Kasper Hjulmand as quoted by Tuttomercato, Saturday (29/6/2024).
The 52 year old coach said that his team in the match will definitely still get support from supporters even though the number is not as large as the German national team. This support will also be maximized by the Danish National Team.
“The support from our fans in the group matches was incredible. Now for us it will feel like an away game. But our fans will also make their presence felt against the German fans. “We are very happy with the support,” he said.
Kasper Hjulmand said his team would appear persistent throughout the match. Because the Danish national team wants to beat Germany to advance to the next phase.
