Ahead of Qatar 2022 World Cup, Roberto Carlos Confident Brazil National Team Lifts Trophy document

Brazilian national team legend Roberto Carlos is confident that Canarinha – the nickname of the Brazilian national team – can win the Qatar 2022 World Cup trophy. To note, the four-year event will soon be rolling on November 20 to December 18, 2022.

The euphoria of world football’s toughest event has been felt since now. The 2022 World Cup itself will open with a Group A match between Qatar vs Ecuador at the Al Bayt Al Khor Stadium.

Meanwhile, the Brazilian national team is clearly still one of the main candidates for champions in this edition. Naturally, because they are the country that has collected the most World Cup trophies. They have won five trophies, namely in the editions of 1958, 1962, 1970, 1994 and 2002.

Moreover, currently the Brazilian national team is inhabited by the world’s top players. Roberto Carlos is also very confident that the Samba country can come out as champion of the 2022 World Cup.

“The only team that can’t lose it is Brazil,” said Roberto Carlos.

Then on the other hand, Roberto Carlos also deeply regrets the absence of the Italian national team from the four-year event. As a player who has played in Italy while defending Inter Milan, he is sure that Gli Azzurri will rise from this slump.

“There was one piece missing, I’m sorry they weren’t there. Maybe the euphoria after the Euros is complicated,” continued the former Real Madrid player.

“But you have one of the best national teams in the world and you always know how to come back.” As far as information is concerned, the Brazilian national team is in Group G with Serbia, Switzerland and Cameroon. The first obstacle that will be passed by Tite’s team is Serbia.
