Al Hilal vs Inter Miami results ended 4-3!

Al Hilal striker, Michael Richard, mocked Lionel Messi and colleagues by performing Cristiano Ronaldo’s iconic ‘Siu’ celebration. The celebration was carried out when Al Hilal won over Inter Miami 4-3 in the 2024 Riyadh Season Cup which was held at Kingdom Arena, Riyadh, Tuesday (30/1/2024).

Al Hilal’s winning goals were scored by Aleksandar Mitrovic (10′), Abdullah Al Hamdan (13′), Michael Richard (44′) and Malcom (88′). Meanwhile, Inter Miami scored goals through the action of Luis Suarez (34′), Lionel Messi’s penalty (54′), and David Ruiz (54′).

Inter Miami, who will start their MLS campaign next month, fielded a star-studded line-up against Jorge Jesus’ side. For example, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi all appeared in this match.

Appearing at their own headquarters, Al Hilal took the lead first. Former Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic rattled Inter Miami’s net in the 10th minute. Three minutes later, the hosts widened the distance. This time through the efforts of Abdullah Al-Hamdan.

Stung, Inter Miami responded. The efforts of Gerardo Martino’s team have had sweet results. In the 34th minute, the Herons reduced the deficit. Luis Suarez who listed his name on the scoreboard.

However, the team from the United States was not allowed to develop. In the 44th minute, Al-Hilal moved away again. This time the goal was scored by a Brazilian striker, Michel Richard Delgado de Oliveira. Michel’s header was unable to be parried by the opposing goalkeeper.

After that, he ran to the corner flag area and celebrated by imitating Cristiano Ronaldo’s style.

Until the first half ended, Al-Za’eem was leading 3-1. Michel’s actions received the spotlight. He seems to have no respect for Inter Miami star, Lionel Messi, who is Ronaldo’s eternal rival. Moreover, the duel at Kingdom Arena is only a friendly match.

Apparently not entirely so. This is not the only time Michael has celebrated ‘siu’. He even acted like that when Al Hilal met Al-Nassr in the Arab Club Champions Cup tournament. In fact, Ronaldo is on Al-Nassr’s side.

After half-time, Messi converted a penalty to make the score 3-2 before assisting 19-year-old midfielder David Ruiz who equalized 3-3. However, Inter Miami had to lose because of Malcom’s goal (88′).

After this, Lionel Messi and Inter Miami will face another Saudi Arabian club, Al Nassr, on Friday (2/2/2024). Interestingly, this match will be the arena for the Lionel Messi vs Cristiano Ronaldo duel entitled The Last Dance.

Lionel Messi, who has won eight Ballon d’Or titles, decided to join Inter Miami in the summer of 2023. Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo, who has won five Ballon d’Or titles, joined Al Nassr at the end of 2022.
