“I have many other goals, dreams that are in the mind of me and my team. We will of course rearrange that in the near future, enjoy some time together, then we start working hard again. But I’m really looking forward to the Olympics.”

The tennis player who won her first Grand Slam title at the 2019 French Open said it was a miracle when she even got a chance to compete in London after a hip injury forced her to withdraw from the second round of the French Open this season against Poland’s Magda Linette after playing fourth game in the second set.

“In the last six weeks, I cried a lot. It’s mostly because of the sadness of what happened at the French Open and now I’m enjoying the joy and the joy and how things have changed,” said Barty, who has lost two sets at Wimbledon this season, in the first round and the final.

“We hoped that after the French Open there would be a chance to win another trophy and we found that at Wimbledon.”
