Bayern won against Paderborn 4:0

Allianz Arena in Munich on the Tuesday night was witnessing a 4:0 victory of Bayern Munich against Paderborn. The Bavarian champion was playing a fantastic and convincing game against the leader of the round, Paderborn.

It was only at the 8th minute when Bayern Munich player Mario Gotze netted for the lead in the game. After him, Robert Lewandowski made this leading position even greater by scoring for 2:0, right in the 14th minute.

Since these two goals came really early and Bayern Munich showed that they have zero intentions on losing at Allianz Arena, Paderborn players took it a bit more slowly. They tried to play a good defense but something was just going wrong throughout the match. Mario Gotze was extremely opened for challenges tonight. He performed miraculously at tonight’s game scoring two times against Paderborn.

However, the goal from Mario Gotze at 78th minute of the second period was followed by a nice shot from Thomas Muller that had put a “crown” on the whole brilliant performance of the Bavarians on Tuesday night. A goal from close range by Thomas Muller was exactly the finishing touch that Bayern Munich fans were waiting for.

Judging from the result anyone could tell that this was an easy match where Paderborn didn’t have any chances at all. Well, to be honest, this is not entirely true for Paderborn did have a few chances (that are unfortunately not visible looking at the result).

They had a phenomenal opportunity when Moritz Stoppelkamps tried to go through Bayern’s defense. However, Idir Ouali didn’t make it to the goal. After this Bayern Munich players took it slowly and tried to waste time before the half time but they could have also had their lead increased by some of the really good chances of Robben and Mario Gotze.

The second Gotze’s goal made it pretty clear that the match was being slowly won by FC Bayern. Robben created a marvelous opportunity for Muller that tried to score but Kruse saved that ball. That didn’t last for long because to ball fell to Gotze who was sure this time also and netted his second in the match and not less attractive.

Paderborn experienced their first defeat right after the goal of Muller in 85th minute. Although Paderborn was outplayed the result is not the true measure of the knowledge they did show during the game.
