Cristiano Ronaldo has scored four goals for his new Saudi side on Thursday, taking his career tally in local leagues to 503 so far.

Ronaldo, four days after celebrating his 38th birthday, netted twice in each half as Al Nassr thumped Al Wehda 4-0 in the Saudi Professional League.

His first goal of the night arrived in the 21st minute via a sweet left-footed strike.

The former Manchester United striker then scored with his right foot just before halftime to make it 2-0.

His hat-trick goal arrived from the penalty spot eight minutes into the second half.

“It’s been easy for Al Nassr in the first half. It has been able to prevent Wehda from penetrating its penalty area and the rest has been managed by Ronaldo,” Al Nassr manager Rudi Garcia said.

Ronaldo passed the 500 league goals during his career overnight, and was later congratulated on his achievement by close friend Piers Morgan.

“BREAKING: Cristiano Ronaldo scores all 4 goals in Al-Nassr’s 4-0 win at Al-Wehda, surpassing 500 career league goals,” Morgan tweeted.

“He’s now scored 61 hat-tricks, 30 before he was 30, 31 since he turned 30. He’s now 38. Astounding. Congrats @Cristiano.” Morgan added.

The Portuguese striker has joined in Al Nassr after the World Cup in Qatar. The Portuguese has signed a contract valid until June 2025.

Ronaldo left Manchester United last month following an explosive television interview in which the 38-year-old said he felt betrayed by the club and did not respect their Dutch manager Erik ten Hag.

The former Real Madrid and Juventus superstar had a disappointing World Cup, having been benched during the playoffs. He left the pitch in tears after Portugal were eliminated by Morocco in the quarter-finals.
