Danny Murphy: Liverpool Will Return to Winning Ways Soon

Liverpool legend, Danny Murphy, believes Liverpool will rise and return to winning ways after losing to Aston Villa in the fourth week yesterday.

Even so, Roberto Firmino and colleagues will certainly try to do better in the next match to improve their confidence at the start of this season.

The right momentum can be used when the Reds face Everton on Saturday, October 17, 2020. The victory in the Merseyside derby match was considered appropriate to boost the mentality of Liverpool players.

Judging from the appearance at the start of this season, Everton are actually the seeded for. Carlo Ancelotti’s team managed to wipe out the victory from the first four matches they have played.

The Toffees-nicknamed Everton- are also entitled to the top position in the standings this season with their perfect points. Lucas Digne and colleagues have recorded 16 points from the four wins they have achieved this season.

In addition, some of their players such as Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Allan Marquez Loureiro and their new recruit, James Rodriguez, are also in the spotlight through the slick performances they showed at the start of the season.

However, on the other hand, Everton should not be too confident even though they ‘win the wind’ more than their city rivals, Liverpool. This is because Mohamed Salah and his colleagues are also looking for an outlet from the humiliating defeat they received when they visited Aston Villa’s headquarters in the fourth week yesterday.

“You all know Jurgen Klopp’s men have great resilience and character besides their obvious qualities. They have jumped almost every hurdle in recent seasons and bounced back from defeat in the European finals, let alone one league match at Villa Park, “Murphy said as quoted by the Goal International website, Thursday (15/10/2020).

“If I were in the blue dressing room I would say beware of injured animals, especially since Sadio Mane, Jordan Henderson and Thiago Alcantara should be fine to come back,” he continued.

“It is an exciting game because of the rise of Everton, but they will lose the momentum they get from the fans. But this is also the right time for Liverpool to return to winning ways, “he said.
