Esports: SEA Esports Championship 2021 Starts on January 6, 2022

The popular esports tournament SEA Esports Championship 2021 will take place from January 6 to 16, 2002, with the participation of 14 teams from 8 countries in Southeast Asia.

The 14 participating teams were divided into 4 groups, including 2 groups of 4 teams and 2 groups of 3 teams.

Group A has the presence of BOOM Esports (Indonesia), GOODFELLAS GAMING (Brunei), NINE-Esports (Laos) and Kingsmen (Malaysia).

Vietnam’s Cerberus Esports fell into Group B with teams Copium (Singapore), ONIC G (Indonesia) and W KEY (Brunei).

Group stage matches are going to play on a round-robin basis (Bo2). The two best teams will advance to the knockout round. All matches in the knockout round are Bo3, except for the grand final (Bo5).

In addition, at the end of the group stage, 8 teams will compete in the win-lose bracket format to find the champion of FBang SEA EC 2021.

SEA Esports Championship 2021 starts from January 6 and matches will take place from 15:00. After 4 days of competition, there will be 6 teams that have to leave the tournament.

The total prize value of SEA Esports Championship 2021is up to $35,000. The winning team will have $7,000, while the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place teams will have $4,000, $3,000 and $2,000, respectively.

The two representatives of Vietnam attending SEA Esports Championship 2021are Cerberus Esports and Division X Gaming.

Cerberus Esports is in Group B along with Copium (Singapore), ONIC G (Indonesia) and W Key (Laos). Division X Gaming is in Group D along with South Build Esports (Philippines) and Sharper Esports (Thailand).

With the presence of top teams such as Sharper Esports, Bren Esports, BOOM Esports or Cerberus Esports, SEA Esports Championship 2021 promises to bring fans impressive and highly competitive performances.
