Joan Laporta was the cause of Ronald Koeman’s failure to bring Georginio Wijanldum to Barcelona which will be discussed in this article. Ronald Koeman revealed he was close to bringing Georginio Wijnalduk to Camp Nou.

“But I failed because the President bothered me instead of bringing players in. The delay was the reason he chose PSG,” continued Ronald Koeman.

“If that doesn’t happen, maybe he will play for Barcelona.” Georginio Wijnaldum is not a new figure for Ronald Koeman. Given, they work together in the Dutch national team. Meanwhile, the 31-year-old midfielder is currently playing for AS Roma.
