Juergen Klopp the manager of Liverpool reassure his team that the West Ham team right now was not the same West Ham team that Liverpool face back in the earlier of the season.
Liverpool started their English Premier League this season facing West Ham. The match was held in Anfield.
Back in the early of the season Liverpool demolished West Ham 4-0. The goals of the Reds were scored by Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane (2), and Daniel Sturridge.
Now the both team will once again be facing each other, exactly on match 25th of the English Premier League where will be help in London Stadium (Home to West Ham United).
Klopp admit that back in the early of the season West Ham loss was due to their weakness. They were still in the progress of adaptatoin and unsure and not ready to face Liverpool with squad which is more or less the same from the previous season.
“We started the season by facing West Ham. We play brilliant football and they were playing slightly poor. That day they had a lot of new faces in the squad and also new coach, and every other aspects and we were strong. That made their life miserable.” Klopp mention this in the Liverpool official website.
“After that they were still need to figure out in few matches to prove their worth and find something together. But they did it and now they are one of the very strong team. This is a bad start for us, since then they are almost always being part of the strong six in the EPL.” Klopp added.
Klopp said that The Hammers (nickname for West Ham) is a very strong team. They have top players like Marko Arnautic, Anderson, and also Samir Nasri.
Aside from that Klopp also said that West Ham have a very good manager in Manuel Pellegrini. Klopp admit that the match against West Ham in the 25th matchday will be very hard for him and it cannot be compare to the very first match of the season, because West Ham players are working really well together now.
“We have to be ready for that. It cannot be compare with the first time when we met.” Klopp added.
“We are expecting a hard match, in early of the season it was not hard due to 2 reason, we were playing very well and they were not ready that day. But today they are ready and this is a different West Ham we will be facing.” Klopp said.
