Because, on Monday (15/7/2024) at the Hard Rock Stadium, Miami, United States, Messi and the Argentine national team successfully defended their championship title at the 2024 Copa America after silencing the Colombian national team in the final with a score of 1-0.
That way, Yamal will meet Messi in the 2025 Finalissima match. Previously, Lionel Scaloni’s team successfully won the highest trophy between the two strongest continents in the world of football in the 2022 edition after silencing the Euro 2020 champions, the Italian National Team, with a landslide score of 3-0.
What makes this meeting interesting is the viral photo that has spread widely recently. The photo shows Yamal, who is still a baby, being bathed by Messi during a photo shoot.
