Ivan Perisic, Inter Milan winger is reportedly getting closer to joining Tottenham Hotspur.
This news blows cannot be separated from Perisic’s contract period at Inter which will expire on 30 June 2022.
This news was conveyed by football journalist and European transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano.
Quoted from Pedia’s content from his personal twitter account (@FabrizioRomano), Saturday (28/5/2022), Romano reported that Perisic had agreed to join The Lilywhites.
“Tottenham (Hotspur) close to Ivan Perisic deal, work in progress since Monday,” wrote Romano quoted from his personal twitter account, Saturday (28/5/2022).
“The Croatian winger is really one step away from Spurs, just waiting for his communication with Inter,” he continued.
Furthermore, Romano reported that Perisic would get a two-year contract in North London.
Therefore, the Croatian player only needs to communicate with Inter Milan to complete his move.
“Perisic wants to anticipate the last ‘green light’ because he is now ready to accept a two-year contract,” said Romano.
Perisic is one of the important players for Inter Milan. The 33-year-old forward has won three trophies for the Nerazzurri. One of them is the 2020-2021 Italian League title.
Meanwhile, his own performance remains consistent even though he has entered the age of three.
Perisic has recorded 10 goals and nine assists in 49 matches in all competitions.
Perisic actually received a contract extension offer from Inter.
However, the former Bayern Munich player ignored them and is now negotiating with Tottenham.
Tottenham’s interest cannot be separated from the role of Antonio Conte.
