Lewis Hamilton has finally admitted that his performance at Hungarian GP was very bad. He has now accepted all the mistakes and errors which he made during Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday. The start made by this great champion was though very bad. During the first lap of his race the car of Lewis Hamilton ran off the road and then later the car got damaged with a huge collision which took place with Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo.
Lewis Hamilton said, “I was all over the place. I really don’t have any words to describe what happened. It was a really bad performance from me”. Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel won in front of Red Bull’s Daniil Kvyat and Ricciardo.
Running fourth on the first lap after a terrible beginning, Hamilton ran wide at the chicane, dropping to tenth spot, battled move down to fourth place and after that broke his front wing crashing into Ricciardo after a restart taking after a wellbeing auto period. Vettel inevitably fixed triumph in the wake of leads the pack from Hamilton off the begin line. That prompted a pit stop and a drop down to twelfth spot with 20 laps to go, from which he battled back to complete 6th.
Lewis Hamilton further added and said, “I don’t know if it was a lack of concentration or what. I pushed right to the end but there were so many obstacles. It’s like there were two different directions and each time I chose the wrong one.”
He let it be known was “peculiar” that in the circumstances he had amplified his title lead over Mercedes fellow team member Nico Rosberg. The German completed eighth after a late-race crash, while battling for second place with Ricciardo, brought about a cut and a stop for new tires. The occurrence was surveyed by race authorities and Rosberg said they had chosen to make no move.
Lewis Hamilton said, “Do I deserve any points? By the grace of God I got some points. I have to go away from this, take breather and come back in Spa [the next race on 23 August]. To come away knowing this was one of the worst performances I’ve put in for a long, long time… I don’t generally try to rely on luck. The team has worked incredibly hard. The race was a bit wobbly.”
