Losing 3 times in a row, Frank Lampard Reveals Things Chelsea Need to Improve

Losing three times in a row, Frank Lampard reveals what Chelsea need to fix. The Blues – nicknamed Chelsea – again suffered defeat in the 2022-2023 Premier League continued match against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Chelsea were defeated by a score of 1-2 in the match which was held at Stamford Bridge on Saturday April 15 2023 evening WIB. Connor Gallagher’s goal in the 13th minute was answered by Danny Welbeck (42′) and Julio Enciso (69′).

Frank Lampard has managed Chelsea in the last three matches in all competitions and all three ended in defeat. In total, Chelsea have never won in their last six matches in all competitions.

Speaking after the match, Frank Lampard was aware of Chelsea’s shortcomings. According to him, Mykhailo Mudryk and colleagues need to be more focused in order to improve results on the field.

“Right now, despite the results of this defeat, the team’s performance on the field needs to be more focused,” said Lampard, quoted from the official Chelsea website, Sunday (16/4/2023).

“Winning can only come with good performance and tonight’s performance was very disappointing because we lost badly,” he continued.

The Blues parted with their previous coach, Graham Potter, because of the difficulty in winning. Lampard himself was appointed as interim coach until the end of the season.

With this result, Chelsea is still stuck in 11th place in the 2022-2023 Premier League standings. They grabbed 39 points from 31 matches and were only able to win 10 of them while swallowing 12 defeats.
